Phil Letendre serves as General Counsel for GovMVMT and assists in Program Management in the Northeast. Phil brings extensive experience in management and legal guidance, previously serving as General Counsel and Senior Program Manager for U.S. Communities Government Purchasing Alliance for nearly a decade, with additional management in the public finance space.
After graduating from The University of Maryland, College Park in Economics, Phil worked in real estate before attending and graduating from The University of Mississippi School of Law and passing the
Maryland State Bar in 2011. His legal experience has served well in both contract review and legislative efforts in various states for cooperative purchasing utilization and compliance.
Phil joins GovMVMT with the desire to assist eligible agencies access the efficiencies provided through GovMVMT while maintaining the highest ethical standards in the industry.
When he is not working with the GovMVMT team and eligible agencies, Phil is with his wife and 5 kids primarily participating in sports and school activities. He and his wife also own small businesses in the Gettysburg, PA area that they enjoy overseeing and supporting when necessary.
